November 2008 – US Navy selects IPS Logistics Engineering Change Proposal (LECP) to improve & upgrade all its electric DC starters used on the AH-1 Cobra attack helicopters. In addition, IPS receives a 5 year follow-on Repair & Overhaul contract after starters are upgraded
